Unknown Sources Permission (Android)
If you see a warning about unknown sources, go to Settings → Security and enable "Install from Unknown Sources" (exact menu name varies by device). This allows you to install our APK directly without going through the Google Play store.
App versus Browser: Which Should You Use?
Our hobiqq app and web interface share the same account and wallet, so you can switch between them seamlessly. The Android app offers offline caching—once you download the game list and current odds, they persist even if you temporarily lose connection. The app also sends push notifications for live-match updates, game launches, and withdrawal confirmations. Table loads are marginally faster on the app due to native optimizations, and the interface responds more snappily to touches.
Our browser version (iOS Safari, Chrome, or any desktop browser) requires an active internet connection but works on any device without installation. If you are in Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, Imlek, or Nyepi holiday periods and prefer not to install software, the browser is your fastest path. The web app also allows you to run hobiqq in a window beside other apps on tablets or large phones.
For most users in Jakarta, Bandung, Medan, and other areas, we recommend the Android app for speed and convenience, combined with browser access for flexibility. Either way, your balance and game history stay in sync.
Device Compatibility and Requirements
Our hobiqq app runs on Android 7 (released 2016) and above. Most devices in circulation meet this requirement. For iOS, we recommend iOS 12 or newer on iPhone or iPad—our web version works on older OS versions but with limited features. Both platforms require a stable internet connection (WiFi or 4G/LTE mobile data) for live-casino streaming; 3G can work but may cause buffering on high-quality tables.
Minimum screen size is 4.5 inches for phones and 7 inches for tablets. Very small-screen devices may display compressed buttons and text. We optimize for portrait orientation but support landscape mode on all games and markets.
Troubleshooting Common Installation Issues
If your hobiqq APK download is blocked, check that your device's security settings allow installation from unknown sources. Go to Settings → Apps & Permissions → App Permissions → Install Unknown Apps, find your browser, and enable the permission. If the APK file is not found after download, check your Downloads folder or ask your browser to show the download history.
On iOS, if the home-screen shortcut does not launch the app, try adding it again: open Safari → go to hobiqq.id → tap Share → Add to Home Screen. Some older iPhones may require clearing Safari cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data) before the app loads smoothly. If you see a certificate warning, this is normal—our SSL certificate is valid, and the warning appears only the first time you access the domain. Tap Continue to proceed.
If the hobiqq app crashes on launch, try restarting your device or uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ensure you have at least 100 MB of free storage space. If problems persist, contact our support team via in-app chat or Customer Support page.
Data, Permissions, and Account Security on hobiqq
When you install our app or access hobiqq via browser, we ask for permission to access your device's location (for fraud detection and legal compliance), storage (for offline caching), and notifications (for deposit and game alerts).
